One Big Love Sre Ayurveda Meblourne

Hi and thanks for visiting One Big Love.

My name is Sre and I’m a traditional Ayurvedic Practitioner qualified in Herbal Health Care, Panchakarma Therapy and Remedial Massage. I am also a qualified Yoga and Meditation teacher, specialising in Yoga and Meditation for your unique mind-body type – or ‘dosha‘ according to Ayurveda.

I have 20 years of experience in Ayurveda in both India and Australia and have studied under some of India’s most experienced teachers through government-certified programs.

For the past 10 years I have run an Ayurveda Clinic in Abbotsford, Melbourne, using traditional Indian medicine and Vedic wisdom to bring greater balance, ease and freedom to clients’ bodies and minds.

I love sharing my culture and connecting through food which is where ‘Punyam Feast’ – the Southern Indian Cooking Experience – comes in. It’s a social enterprise which means that once our costs have been taken care of 100% of the profits go back towards community development projects in my home state of Kerala, India.

Namasthe, Sre

Dr Sonu Mohan One Big Love

Hi, I am Sonu and I am a professionally qualified Ayurveda Medical Practitioner with experience in both India and Australia.

I am a graduate of the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery from Amrita Ayurveda Medical College, one of the reputed institutions in Kerala, India. I have also trained in modern diagnostics from the prestigious Amrita Institute of Medical Science, Cochin in Kerala, India.

Hailing from a family with a strong medical background, I became passionate about healing at a young age and it has helped me throughout my journey as a medical practitioner.

Since graduating, I have worked at various traditional Ayurvedic hospitals in Bangalore and Kerala and have extensive experience in carrying out Panchakarma Therapies. Since 2017 I have been practicing as an Ayurvedic Practitioner in Melbourne.

As a passionate Ayurvedic Doctor I am experienced in handling various conditions such as women’s health and gynaecological problems, mental health issues, migraines, arthritic conditions, skin problems, sleep disturbances and digestive and gastrointestinal diseases with traditional Ayurvedic medicines. I also have experience in Leech Therapy (known for blood purification).

I am also a qualified Yoga Teacher and Therapist, graduating from Shivananda Yoga Vedanta Dhanwantari Ashram, Trivandrum in Kerala, India.

When working with a client, my approach involves an initial analysis of the problem or condition and supporting them to apply both Ayurvedic principles and the benefits of Yoga into their daily life to experience optimal health and wellbeing.

Jess One Big Love

Hi, my name is Jess and I’m a Meditation Teacher and Social Innovation and Impact specialist providing strategic support and guidance to social enterprises, not-for-profits and big-hearted businesses.

Before starting One Big Love with my husband Sre, I worked in international aid and development for 10 years in Australia, Mexico, India and Indonesia managing Oxfam Australia’s Youth Programs. I also established YMCA Victoria’s Social Enterprise Programs, and continue to support the Y with strategy and social impact measurement.

While I’ve always loved my work, like many social change-makers I’d burnt myself out. Meditation was key to turning my life around and finding balance, health and happiness – so I’m here to share that gift with others.

I feel privileged to have trained with some of the worlds leading meditation teachers including author and holistic health specialist Dr Deepak Chopra, Vedic Educator Dr David Frawley, Ayurveda expert Dr Sheila Patel and transcendental meditation teacher Roger Gabriel. I am certified through the Chopra Centre’s Primordial Sound Meditation Teacher Program and Perfect Health – Ayurvedic Living Program.

I deeply believe in our potential as human beings and our possibility to create change at any time – to change our habits, to change our lives, to change our country – bringing innovation to ourselves and our world. The world has never needed each of us to be the fullest expression of ourselves more. x Jess
