Yoga and Meditation Classes and Workshops

We believe that the mind and body are inextricably connected. Yoga helps us to connect with, open, strengthen and ‘tune’ our body and refine our nervous system so that it reflects a greater degree of consciousness. 

Yoga also helps us to prepare for meditation – the practice of quietening the fluctuations of the mind to make contact with the deepest aspects of ourselves.

Ayurvedic Cooking Classes

From an Ayurvedic perspective, every food can be considered medicine, neutral, or poison, depending on how it affects our digestive capacity. In these cooking classes you will:

  • Learn what, when and how to eat to build Agni (digestive fire) and balance your body-mind type (known as Dosha)
  • Explore the 6 tastes and how to incorporate them into each meal
  • Learn step-by-step how to prepare delicious, nourishing, seasonal meals 

Punyam Feast – a Southern Indian Immersion

Immerse yourself into the culture and cuisine of Southern India with our popular Punyam Feast in the comfort of your own home. 

‘Punyam’, which is Sanskrit for ‘good deed’ or ‘good merit’, is a social enterprise. This means that once our costs have been taken care of, the profits go towards community development projects in Kerala, India.

Ayurveda, Yoga and Meditation have always been a part of our lives in unique ways, as has giving back to the community. We believe that this is as much ‘Yoga’ as asanas and pranayama.
